CHANCES ARE, YOU’VE HEARD OF US
Maybe you know a little about rapid detox. The Waismann Method offers unmatched treatment for addiction and recognizes opiate dependency as a disorder of the central nervous system. Rapid detox is provided in a safe, confidential, hospital environment where patient safety and comfort is closely monitored.
One key reason why opiate addicts delay treatment – or fail once they enter – is that withdrawal symptoms are often unbearable. With the Waismann Method for opiate detox, anesthesia is administered and patients’ opiate receptors are cleansed with medications.
Patients return to a normal life within days, eliminating the need to spend weeks or months in drug rehab. The treatment process differs from other addiction programs that require a painful withdrawal period. The fear of withdrawal is what often keeps the addict addicted.
Many traditional drug treatment protocols replace an opiate addiction by prescribing another opiate, which doesn’t fully wean the patient from the drug. Using a drug such as Methadone to treat a heroin addiction may help addicts detoxify from heroin, but the body must then be weaned from Methadone.
The Waismann Method does not practice opiate-replacement therapy, making it truly revolutionary in the field of rapid detox for opiate addiction.

Can this be true? How does rapid detox deal with the brain's dependance and subsequent demands for the substance after it has been cleansed. I understand the rapid cleansing process, but what keeps you from expepriencing the absolute and perfect agony of withdrawal?
I'd love to hear more too. I ruptured a disc in my back 5 weeks ago. I was given a perscription for Oxycodone 10 mg 6 times a day. I did that for 10 days and then stopped because I was a little better and did not want to continue on with another script. My sister use to work for Purdue Pharma and was one of the top reps in the country for Oxycontin (I have heard the stories about addiction trust me). But after reading this site what I never heard anything about was the need for detox after a short amount of time on the medication. Maybe it is just me since I have never taken anything stronger than darvocet for 3 days after a surgury (opioids make me vomit)But I have all of the symptoms of withdrawal after less than 2 weeks. I could not figure out (until this) where the pain in the bones of my legs was coming from. I have had a hard time sleeping, sweating all the time even if it is cold and just feeling run down. I just figured it was all symptoms of the ruptured disc. How can you detox quick I have felt this way for three weeks now maybe I am going to be done, naturally soon, but would love to hear more.
