Rapid Detox - Drug Detox

WHAT IS RAPID DETOX?

The Waismann Method of Accelerated Neuro-Regulation has saved thousands of people from falling deeper into the abyss of opiate
addiction
. The rapid
detox program has been lauded worldwide and has attracted press, all because of its success rate in treating opiate addiction and/or dependency and prescription drug addiction. Launched in 1997, the rapid detox program recognizes opiate dependence as a disorder of the central nervous system, caused by continual
use of opiates. Traditionally, it has been treated as a psychological disorder.

Treatment Location

Patients in the program sleep comfortably under light anesthesia while medications cleanse the opiates from their opiate receptors. The treatment is administered in a fully accredited hospital in Southern California where patients are monitored 24/7. Accelerated withdrawal symptoms occur within hours instead of days, weeks or in some cases, months, as with traditional methods. Once patients wake up, they are no longer physically dependent on opiates and they are unaware of the withdrawal that occurred during the procedure.

Treatment Details

The rapid detox requires patients to stay in the hospital for a minimum of 24-48 hours. Pre-treatment includes comprehensive medical exams and tests, and after-care is tailored to patients’ needs. After-care is closely monitored and patients are prescribed a daily dose of non-narcotic, non-mood altering Naltrexone, an opiate inhibitor, for up to 9 months. It eliminates physical cravings for opiates. Licensed therapists monitor patients’ emotional needs, and patients go to the Domus Retreat after-care facility.

What We offer with Our Treatment

People who have undergone Rapid Detox with the Waismann Method return
to a normal life within days. With other methods of detox, patients often spend
weeks or months in a rehabilitation facility. With traditional rehabilitation
programs, detox treatment can cause withdrawal symptoms that last weeks or
months. Statistics show grim success rates, with 85% to 90% of patients relapsing
within a year. Some other rapid
detox programs
offer replacement opiate treatment
with Suboxone or Methadone. Replacing one opiate for another can prolong opiate
addiction and require more than one detoxification.

The Waismann Method of Rapid Detox treats patients with opiate-free medication.
It helps clients detox from opiates including Oxycontin, Vicodin, Norco, Methadone, Heroin, Hydrocodone, LAAM, Lortab, Dilaudid, Darvocet, Fentanyl, Percocet, Percodan, Lorcet, Morphine, MS Contin, Stadol, Suboxone, Buprenorphine and Tramadol.
